Step-by-Step Workflow
1. Launch the application
2. Load a File
- Drag and drop a content file onto the viewport, paste an image from the clipboard, or use the top bar menu to browse for and select content.
3. Choose an algorithm
- Open the Settings panel on the right side.
- In the Mode dropdown, select an algorithm (e.g., CRT, Bayer Dithering, ASCII).
- The viewport updates in real time to show the effect.
4. Select a palette
- Scroll down in the Settings panel to the Palette section.
- Click on a palette from the gradient bar to apply it.
- You can also create custom palettes or edit existing ones.
5. Adjust parameters
- Each algorithm has specific settings that appear when selected.
- Use the sliders and controls to fine-tune the visual effect.
- Changes are applied instantly in the viewport.
6. Compare before and after
- Use the Compare button in the top bar to toggle between original and processed views.
- Options include After, Before, and Split view.
7. Export your work
- Click the Export button in the top bar.
- Choose output format.
- Set the filename and destination folder.
- Click Export to save.
Tips
- For large files, processing may take a moment when changing algorithms.
- Reset buttons appear next to sections when you change default values.
- Use keyboard shortcuts for faster workflow (see controllers-and-controls).
